- 1 cup brown rice
- 1/2 cup glutinous rice
- 1/2 cup long grain white rice
- 1 tsp finely chopped dried shrimp
- 150 g chicken breast meat, skinned, cut into 1 cm cubes
- 1/4 cup onions diced
- 1 lotus leaf
- 1/4 cup chinese mushroom
- 1/4 cup bamboo shoots
- 1/4 cup dried logan
- 1/4 cup gingko nuts
- 1/4 cup wolfberry
- 1/4 cup red dates
- 1/4 cup peanut
- 2 cups water
- pinch pepper
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp canola oil
- 1/2 tsp five spice powder
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
Procedure:
- combine rice ... wash
- in wok ... heat canola oil ... stir fried dreid shrimp, rice, five spice powder, pepper
- transfer into rice cooker ... addd 2 cups water ... cook for 15 mins till moist of the water absorbed
- heat sesame oil in pan ... add mushroom, chicken meat ... stir fry for 5 mins ... followed by remaining ingredients
- add soy sauce ... stir fry and mix well
- add the eight treasure ingredients ... mix well
- place rice in cleaned lotus leaf ... wrap ... steam for 30 mins till rice fully cooked
- serve rice in lotus leaf
