Fried Brown Rice

Ingredients:
  • 150 g brown rice
  • 150 g white rice
  • 100 g chicken, skinless, minced
  • 60 g broccoli, blanched, chopped
  • 100 g sweet corn kennels
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 2 tbsp light soy sauce
  •  1/4 tsp salt

Procedure:
  1. wash rice ... soak brown rice for 30 mins - 2 hours
  2. cook 1 cup of brown rice with  2 1/2 cup water ... for 20-35 mins .. use less water for chewier testure
  3. heat wok ... add oil, chicken ... stir fry till cooked ... set aside
  4. stir fry egg ... scramble style
  5. add brown and white rice .... stir fry till fragrant
  6. add water to soften rice ... allow riceto absorb flavor
  7. add broccoli, corn ... stir fry
  8. add seasoning, chicken ... mix well
  9. served hot
